Felt Rose Topiaries

Just in time for Spring comes this post on felt rose topiaries. This creation was time consuming. I recommend doing it in two parts, the first part should be allocated to making the felt roses. I have included a link to the Crafters Anonymous Club felt flower tutorial.

Once you have assembled all of your felt flowers the remaining tasks are pretty straight forward. I have included a pictorial below of the steps needed to assemble the Topiaries.

I chose to use hot glue as it sets faster than traditional glue. If you choose this option be sure to use the low setting on your glue gun. If the glue gets too hot it will wilt your foam balls. Glue one foam ball in the base of your pot. Run a wooden dowel or skewer through the foam ball. The second foam ball will be inserted onto the wooden dowel after the roses have been attached. As well for the moss I used a pre-rolled strip of moss. This was less messy and a lot easier to use in the Topiaries base.
